How do you find out which predictors matter in a meta-regression without picking one model by hand? The video fits all 16 predictor combinations with multimodel.inference from dmetar, reads the four output blocks (final results, best five models, averaged coefficients, predictor importance), explains why the result stays exploratory, and wraps up chapter 8 with its five key points. Video 47 of the series, eighth of eight on chapter 8 of the book 'Doing Meta-Analysis with R'.
It follows the free online textbook by Harrer, Cuijpers, Furukawa and Ebert (https://doing-meta.guide); the videos give a first overview, the book goes into depth.
