How i fixed my encoders for my Yamaha Samplers with Contact Cleaner - A3000 | A4000 | A5000 | SU700

Parameter jumps on encoders are a big problem if you work with these kind of samplers. It can make you overtime very angry because it can disturb completely your workflow. This is a little fix how you can solve some of these problems. I tried it on 8 different Sampler. On nearly all encoders. 80% functioned much better. The results are from ok to very good but they are not perfect. For me it is fine and mostly all jumps are gone and it feels good to have more control. Sometimes it does not help to solve this problem so than there is no other way you have to change or clean the encoder directly from the inside. The SU700 Encoders a different but it functions also in some cases. A cover of the spray can and a drill are your helper. I hope this old gear can come thru you to a new extended life. Sean
