EP_019 : Part 11 : Ditrupa Tsa Lefiso

Ditrupa , where tradition, rhythm, and community come alive. 🇿🇦✨ Women in Scottish-inspired uniforms, men dressed like WWII soldiers, drums beating, and voices carrying stories — from returning heroes to public figures to everyday life. The word turupa is even said to come from the word ‘troops’ 😂 From 25 December to 2 January, the streets come alive with music, pride, and pure joy. It’s unity, creativity, and celebration all in one… definitely something everyone should experience at least once. #trupa #turupa #troops #DecemberFun
