THE BIRD’S NEST opens the story of Birds of a Feather, an independent Bermuda music and art project born from an idea that refused to stay small. This song is a tribute. A reflection on memory, community, the people who leave something behind, and the strange ways a place can continue carrying somebody after they’re gone. Birds of a Feather began as part of a wider Art Month experiment exploring what art can be: music, writing, illustration, technology, storytelling, community, humor and memory.
