This video contains two matches I had with the recently released LV1 Record Breaker on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 650 cost general with amazing melee damage, great close range stun game, access to LV4 Flight Control+LV2 Flap Booster, great mobility, LV2 Power Accelerator alongside access to a new Prototype Minovsky Drive skill that offers full flight movement, temporary infinite thrust and the wings of light ram attack. It suffers from having a very awkward downswing, from being quite vulnerable while the M Drive skill is cooling down, from having short effective range alongside having mediocre mid-range DPS. I hope that you enjoy watching! Its primary weapon is a beam rifle with 2600 power, 8 ammo, 3.5 seconds cooldown, 12 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 300m range and 40% stagger value. This has short range, but it has a short cooldown time and benefits from having ASL. While the M Drive skill is activated, it can be fired while boosting forwards and reloads twice as quickly. Its primary melee weapon is a beam zanber with 2900 power, 1.5 seconds cooldown, 0.33 seconds swap time, 70% combo modifier and 130%x2 downswing modifier. This has high power alongside very quick swap time and cooldown time. The downswing is quite awkward and short ranged, but while the M Drive skill is activated, it ignores buffers, ignores shields and deals an extra 300 flat damage per hit to enemies above 50% HP. It benefits from LV2 Aerial Melee. Its first sub weapon is a rapid fire beam rifle with 400x4 power, 16 ammo, 0.5 seconds swap time, 13 seconds reload, 300m range and 25%x4 stagger value. This has short range and doesn't deal that much damage, but it has incredible stagger power. While the M Drive skill is activated, it can be fired while boosting forwards and reloads twice as quickly. Its second sub weapon is a gerobi beam rifle with 800x6 power, 1 ammo, 12 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 400m range, 0.8 seconds focus time and 65%x8 stagger value. This has longer range than your other weapons, but due to you needing to stop to fire before shooting it, it makes you very vulnerable for that time. It instantly staggers, pierces, and has very high stagger accumulation. The LV1 F99 has 24000 HP, 20 ballistic resist, 23 beam resist and 29 melee resist. It has higher HP than some other miniature suits at 650 cost, but its lack of a beam shield more than evens out that advantage. It has LV1 Maneuver Armor, LV1 Fall Prevention System, LV1 Offence System, LV1 Damage Control and LV1 Special Emergency Evasion for defensive skills. Special EE reduces thrust overheat time if you are hit by an attack while rolling. In terms of mobility it has 140 walking speed, 225 boost speed, 75 thrust and 78 turning speed. It has excellent mobility, being not only pretty quick on the ground, but incredibly mobile in the air too. It has LV3 Forced Injector, LV4 Flight Control, LV2 Flap Booster and LV1 Prototype Minovsky Drive System for mobility skills. LV1 Prototype Minovsky Drive System is activated via the touch-pad, doing so enables flight mode. While active, you deal 6.5% more melee damage, 1% more ranged damage, gain extra boosting speed, take 20% less stagger build-up while boosting, take 20% less damage while boosting, gain access to a 2800 power ram attack that drains thrust on hit, gain access to a 2800 power dodge roll melee attack, and you have infinite thrust for 20 seconds, dodge rolling takes 5 seconds off the timer. Once de-activated you will regain all of your thrust, but it cannot be activated again for another 30 seconds. If you are shot down before the timer expires, the skill's cooldown will be shortened according to how much time you had left. It also gets LV2 Power Accelerator. In conclusion, I feel that while the F99 has ridiculously high potential, it is so difficult to play that I think that few players will be able to master it. Unlike the V2, you cannot just float around in the air waiting for the right opportunity, the 20 seconds skill timer forces you to push in and put yourself at risk. If your flight movement isn't on point, you could easily get shot down and killed in one combo, and you need to put time into learning the quirks of its awkward downswing. I think it will be the one of the strongest generals available on flight friendly maps like Arctic Base and Colony Drop Area, but it will definitely suffer on longer range maps where there is less cover available. If you are handy with flight suits, I can definitely recommend rolling for it. My personal recommendation is, even if you plan on rolling for it, wait and see what the next suit will be before rolling, the developers will be showing it off in the livestream planned for the 28th of October. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it! Music used: G-Saviour (PS2), Fragile Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2, A Good Thing is Possible
