RE5-GE(PC)/ Creating New Save & Backup / 2025

This short video shows how to: Create 'Backup Data' of your save Create 'NewSave Data' How to Load your 'Backup' save ( This is on: Windows 11 ) The Process: Find your save data. They sould be in folder: ###/Steam/userdata/*YourAccountID*/21690/remote (savedata.bin) IF you want to make Backup, copy "savedata.bin" and store them in differend folder. IF you want to make "NewSave", Delete "savedata.bin" Then, before starting up the game, make sure, your steam is in "OFFLINE Mode" ( whitch you need to do trough " Steam - Go Offline... ") (( ! NOT IN THE FRIENDS LIST ! )) When your steam is at OFFLINE Mode, start the game. The game will then ask you to Create new save data file. Whitch you hit YES. After you enter into the menu, you can Exit the game. Then you set your steam back to ONLINE Mode. Since the game uses SteamCloud saves, it will display ERROR at CloudSynch. Then you boot up the game trought steam client, whitch will ask you, if you wana download CloudSave or Uppload your Local save to Cloud. Here, you will Choose LOCAL and run game. ( Hitting the 1st option will restore the OLD save, you just deleted, so not the 1st, but the 2nd option ) Then after hitting Continue, the game will boot up, with the new save data. --- And... That's basicly ALL. You have now sucessufly Created NewSave Data. IF you wish to Make backup of NewSave Data, then you may do it. ( just copy the fresh save data, and store them elsewhere in your PC ) IF you wish to Load back 'Backup' save. Simply Copy your old Save Data (or your NewSave) and Replace the Current savedata. (And no, no need to make Steam Offline for this, simply replacing Your save data with older will not Download save from Cloud) It's better to watch the Video First xD - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- Contacts -- (none)
