HcL Transport Route 67 | Edinburgh → Ratho | Full 4K Side-Window Journey Join me aboard HcL Transport's newly established Route 67, travelling from Edinburgh city centre to the village of Ratho, passing some of the capital's best-known landmarks along the way. Filmed on Tuesday 6 October 2026, this journey takes us past Edinburgh's historic statues and monuments, Charlotte Square, Haymarket, the magnificent former Donaldson's School, Edinburgh Zoo and Corstorphine, before heading towards Hermiston and the quieter roads into Ratho. A little personal connection to this one: my sister was involved in the local community campaign to help bring this service into existence, so it was particularly satisfying to travel on it myself! It also happened to be the final bus of Day Two of my rather ridiculous attempt to cross Britain using nothing but local buses. After two days of long journeys, tight connections and plenty of miles, this comfortable little Mercedes-Benz Sprinter was a rather intimate and relaxing way to finish the day. The service provides a direct public transport connection between Edinburgh and Ratho, including access to the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena (EICA Ratho).
