Dad’s Truck Came Home. The Driver Could Barely Talk

Day 15 of the outbreak. It's 34 below. Every house in Harlow, Minnesota is dark, and every night the sick walk past the windows. Except at one house. The man who told the whole town to bring their food and gas to the church has every light on in his farmhouse — and the sick won't go near it. Theo saw it from the bell tower. Now he has to prove it in front of two hundred people, without getting anyone hurt. And three days after his dad promised "three days," a truck finally pulls up. In this episode: – why light and noise tell everyone you have fuel – how fast frostbite starts at 34 below with wind – why shoveling heavy snow in extreme cold is hard on the heart – why you need witnesses, not a fight 0:00 Rule Three 0:20 Previously 0:40 The Cocoa 2:20 Thirty-Four Below 4:10 The Bell Tower 5:50 The Plan 6:40 Turn Off Your Lights 9:00 The Truck Is the driver sick — or just cold?
