Hard Racing at Sonoma Raceway - Spec Racer Ford

The last race of my second weekend racing in Spec Racer Ford. I haven’t driven this car in about a year. While holding back some tough drivers, I ended up making my way up to 1st for a lap. A lack of experience in this car caused me to overheat the rears once I was out in front and took me time to adapt to the conditions. A mistake at turn 3 let the gap I built close up, then ultimately getting past at turn 4. While defending 2nd at turn 2, I lost grip being on the dirty side of the track (possibly nudged a bit from the overtaking car backing out) and lost 6 places in the blink of an eye.
