Email me if you have fishing tackle review or want to promote your tackle or join our fishing trips! fishingtacklechannel@gmail.com Trip summary & highlights • Departure time / date 0400hrs (4am), 4 Oct 2025. • Weather, sea conditions: excellent • Gear / rigging used (jigs, tube, lines, reels): circle hook 6/0, 40, 50, 60lbs braids, 50-60lbs mono leader. 24oz sinker( provided by the boat), 400-500gram slow pitch metal jigs. • Depths targeted: 300-400ft • Filming / camera setup info: GoPro Hero9 We took a 14-hour deep drop trip on the Ocean Princess out of Maryland, running 50+ miles offshore into 300+ feet of water targeting Blueline and Golden Tilefish — and it turned into one of the most intense offshore trips I’ve done. Captain made the call to push farther when the bite slowed, and that decision paid off with non-stop keeper tilefish and personal bests for a lot of people on board. Long runs, heavy sinkers, deep water… but when the bite turns on, it’s absolutely worth it.
