A little time away. After an almost unbroken six months of work, I took a much-needed holiday with my family — beginning in Brussels and Venice, and then travelling by ship from port to port around the Mediterranean. Sometimes we were a party of 30, ranging in age from six to over 80! It was wonderful, intense, occasionally chaotic and very precious. I took a knitting project with me: the All Yellow Cardi, knitted in a beautiful linen-merino yarn gifted me by Stucken Yarns. As the journey unfolded, so did the cardigan — through sunny days, quiet moments at sea, new places, small discoveries and a lot of knitting. This is less a travel guide and more a little record of what I saw, what I made, and what it felt like to have some precious time away with the people I love. Thank you for coming along. I'm Yewande, and this is Knitting the Blues. If you enjoyed this video, I'd love to hear what you're knitting at the moment — or tell me about a place you've taken your knitting with you.
