I Made The Cummins Limo Faster... It Got Sketchy

Today we find out how fast the Cummins swapped Daimler limo really is… and then try to make it even faster! We start in the workshop fixing a few things that broke on our massive European road trip — new radiator fans, replacing the stop solenoid, and resealing the steering box. Once the limo is (sort of) ready, we head to an abandoned airfield for a Dragy quarter-mile test. After a warm-up burnout (obviously), the limo runs around 19.7 seconds in the quarter mile. Not great… but not bad for a 3-ton brick. Back in the workshop we install: ⚙️ More base timing ⚙️ A dynamic timing spacer ⚙️ Throttle throw modifications Then it’s back to the airfield for round two — and the limo instantly feels angrier, louder, and way more sketchy. We knock over a full second off the quarter mile time, and the shutdown zone is… spicy. I also joke that we may have set the Cummins-swapped Daimler limo drag race world record — mainly because it’s the only one in existence. Lots of laughs, lots of turbo noises, and way more speed than a limo should ever have.
