Highway Views to Hidden Caves — Full Vista Trail POV | Little Sugar Bella Vista Arkansas

After posting pictures from Vista last week, the most common question I got was a simple one: how challenging is this blue trail, really? Rather than try to answer that in a caption, here's the full eight-minute ride so you can see the terrain and make your own call. Vista runs along the bluffs bordering Highway 71 in the Little Sugar trail system in Bella Vista, Arkansas — and what makes it stand out is how much the character shifts across a single ride. In some sections you're looking directly out at Lowe's with highway traffic moving below. In others you're deep in what feels like completely secluded forest, crossing bridges that run past open cave mouths in the exposed limestone. Elevated boardwalks with railings hug the bluff edge. Rock shelves hang overhead. It's an unusual mix of urban and remote within the same stretch of trail. Partway through the ride you'll encounter a gravel road called Lookout Road. Follow it in the direction of the highway and you'll pick up the remainder of Vista before reaching the Sick A More Access Trail. That junction catches a lot of first-time riders, so it's worth knowing before you go. As for the difficulty question — this is the full ride, uncut and start to finish.
