Rapido or Proto: Who Makes the Better Budd Car?

I have too many HO scale RDC Budd Cars. I discovered this fact when I bought a Rapido Budd Car, and tried to put it on my RDC shelf. No room. So what is one to do? Make a video, of course! Maybe comparing a couple of brands, like Rapido and Proto. So off I went, with the idea of doing a very high level comparison. No deep dives mind you, just a cursory look at how they stack up against each other. While this video certainly doesn't qualify as a 'deep dive', it did dive a little deeper than I thought it would and became longer than I could have expected as a result. I came away with a new respect with the big YouTubers who routinely do detailed reviews of new models as they come out. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this one. And I hope my appearance at the beginning doesn't turn you off ever visiting me in the Train Asylum again. It was necessary to admit my problem to you face to face. As for the number or RDC Budd Cars in my collection, I'm thinking of making a new shelf. So no, the Rapido probably won't be my last. I am indeed addicted.
