Civ Previews - Age of Empires Online Project Celeste

Playing for the first time Age of Empires Online? This is all about choosing your first civ and explaining why to pick (or not) specific civs. RATING: -GREEKS: Ideal first civ for learning the basics, nothing special to keep in mind, everything is good, great defense but also the weakest economy in game. -EGYPTIANS: Great economy, weaker but numerous units early, heavy arsenal late game, need to keep in mind aging by building temples, using priestess of ra is great, it is too easy to get used to the many resources. -CELTS: Strong and faster infantry, using druids for the dmg boost, rites for temporal boost, good economy, need houses for aging (with different pricing), need some micro for maximum effectivness. -ROMANS: Powerful late game army with great support from healers and officers, engineers help with construction, Abacus helps with early gold, weaker early game, expensive units, difficult 1-20 quest line, better as a "second" civ. -PERSIANS: Lvl 20 start, all units good, toggle techs at War Academy, very unique unit - Immortal, Aid Tent upgrade at Storehouse, very expensive units (esp. gold), lack of good anti-building dmg outside of Siege -INDIANS: Lvl 20 start, not much known yet, strong economy through elephant gatherer, Shrine generating resources and herdables, monkeys, choose one techs, elephants in army. -BABYLONIANS: Lvl 20 start, strong economy through Ox Carts, Gardens, weaker but fast to replace units, lots of ranged options, Lancers. -NORSE: Strong infantry, good cavalry, starts with two scouts, infantry builds military buildings, seer can summon raven for scouting, Chief for lategame HP boost, slow training times, expensive late game units, weak ranged and siege units. 0:00 Intro 0:31 Premium civs VS Pro civs 2:46 Civ Overview Button 3:44 Greeks 5:34 Egyptians 9:05 Celts 12:20 Persians 15:05 Romans 18:12 Babylonians 21:21 Norse 25:15 Indians??
