Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition Personal Comments: Monaspas are incredibly cheap unit for the stats they get. As common UU, they require castle to produce. However, they are easy to mass because of their cheap cost and very quick training time, even the fastest created cavalry in the game. Thus, when they are massed quickly, it also means that their attack is increased easily up to +8. Furthermore, they have tough melee armor, can regenerate their HP, take less population space, and receive more less damage on higher elevation. Despite their poor HP and Pierce Armor against ranged units, they move fast and have high DPS and faster reload time than other cavalry to deal with them if possible, considering their cheap gold cost.
