I’ve always been more of an introvert. While growing up and even during my campus life, I often found myself sitting alone while everyone else seemed to have their own groups. People who were naturally funny, outgoing, and comfortable talking to everyone seemed to connect with others much more easily. I wasn’t really like that. In this video, I talk about what it was like being the quiet and introverted person, why I often ended up alone, how I felt watching other people build friendships so easily, and how I see those experiences today. This isn’t about saying that being outgoing is bad or that introverts are better. It’s simply my personal experience of feeling like I didn’t always fit in.
