Drum Corps Percussion: Top 12 Drumlines Carrying the Corps, Part II

This video is Part 2 of a series chronicling the Top 12 largest placement gaps between junior drum corps percussion section and their corps (where percussion outranked the entire corps). Top 12 ranking is determined by the number of placements in the gap between the higher percussion ranking and the entire corps ranking. Tie breaks are determined by percussion score. Considering the differences in adjudication between 1983 and prior versus 1984 and onward (“tick” system vs. “build-up” system), the ranking of drumlines in this video should not be seen as a ranking of one drumline being better than the other. To qualify for this list, the percussion section must have scored in the top 12 percussion sections of their respective end-of-season competition (e.g., DCI Finals Week, VFW Nationals, etc.).
