Little About Me Folk Singer Shakil Awan Birth: Village Nagri Tuttial District Abbottabad, KPK (Pakistan) I have passed my childhood in village Nagri Tuttial. I got my basic education from Government High school Nagri Tuttial. My education education continued after the metric as well. I had the craze of music. God gifted me the beautiful voice. I passed some time in Rawalpindi in the education of music. At first I have performed in popular program “ Jamhoor Ni Aawaz” broadcasted from Radio Pakistan Rawalpindi. I have got the opportunity of performance in very popular PTV program “ Chanan” from where my song “ adhi adhi raatain” got popularity. Then the new era of Audio Cassettes started. I have released almost 111 albums in the market up till now in different languages like Urdu, Panjabi, Pothohaari, Hindko, Siraaiki, and Gojri. I have performed in abroad like UAE, UK, Saudi Arabia and in almost all cities of Pakistan. More over I have performed in the programs of Loke Wirsa, PNC and Abaseen.
