Nepal is a country of mountains and quiet courage — yet for many women with physical disabilities, especially amputees, the chance to play, grow, and be seen is still out of reach. With few training spaces, almost no organized opportunities, and little support, many girls never discover how strong and capable they truly are. Nirmala Foundation is working to change that. We believe sport is more than a game-it is dignity, confidence, and hope. We have now formed Nepal’s first women’s amputee football team, beginning from the grassroots level, training slowly, safely, and with care. Our dream is to build a strong and resilient team that can proudly represent Nepal- and one day reach the Women’s Amputee Football World Cup in 2027.
