Celestion Century Vintage, neo speaker - Zilla Cabs

Celestion's Century Vintage is often overlooked, we rarely used it at Zilla Cabs and it was a speaker that seemed to disappear, so when we found one in the workshop we thought we would give it a whirl and see what Joe thought of it. A little bit of backstory is the Century Vintage was a speaker that Celestion released around the mid 2000's that used a neodymium magnet. Neodymium magnets have a much higher magnetic flux density, so essentially needing a smaller magnet and therefore allows manufacturers to make a much lighter speaker. The downside was that the Century Vintage wasn't that popular so unlike the newer neo creamback it failed to really take off.... We sold more neo creambacks in the first week after release than we did of the Century Vintage in ten years. The cab we used here to demonstrate is a closed back Mini Modern 1x12. It is a good all rounder of a cab. If you have any comments please let us know what you think, any suggestions, just let us know.
