Baikasai (梅花祭) Geisha Plum Blossom Tea Festival

Baikasai is a Plum Blossom Festival at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine in Kyoto where Geisha and Maiko (geisha apprentice) make and serve tea to visitors on February 25 from 10-3. It costs about 1500Yen to participate and you can choose between sitting at a table or taking your shoes off and sitting on the floor.
