How To Make Cinematic Rock & Metal (3 Simple Steps)

🎁 FREE: CORE, 15 Essential Serum 2 Presets for Metal. Grab it here: https://synthyoursong.com/free-downlo... Want your rock or metal song to sound bigger, more epic, and more cinematic? In this video I show you 3 simple steps to get there: strings and orchestral layers, synth atmospheres, and sound effects. Strings and orchestrals instantly make a production feel bigger. The trick is to split them across the frequency range. The lows double your bass, the mids play background chords, and the highs carry melodies and sustains. That way every layer has its own job and nothing fights for space. Atmospheres built with a synthesizer like Serum 2 add the overall ambience that glues a cinematic production together. The free CORE pack has Serum 2 presets you can use for exactly this. Last, sound effects. They add movement and tension, but be careful not to use the same effects every other producer is using, or your song ends up sounding like everyone else's.
