After spending 2 nights in Spitzkoppe, we drove over 7hours through Namibia's remote desert landscapes, with a quick stop in Solitaire for petrol and its famous apple pie. In this vlog, we're taking you along as we explore Namib-Naukluft National Park, hike Elim Dune and Dune 45, visit the iconic Big Daddy Dune, and finally experience the surreal beauty of Deadvlei. From endless red-orange-ish dunes and incredibly strong desert winds to golden sunsets and unexpected wildlife encounters, Sossusvlei genuinely felt like another planet. We stayed at Dead Valley Lodge, right inside the national park, and absolutely loved the experience. Being surrounded by the desert made these few days even more memorable.
