In Part 2 of Prison to Purpose, Jesus Miguel “Skod” Gamboa continues sharing his story of incarceration, transformation, and faith. This time, we filmed the conversation while Skod was doing what he does today—cutting hair. During his time in prison, Skod became bunkmates with a pastor from El D.F. That relationship would eventually lead to an encounter with Jesus inside his cell that changed the direction of his life. And there’s another incredible connection to his story: the father he never knew was a corrections officer at the very jail where he was incarcerated. Today, Skod is building a completely different life. He’s a husband, musician, barber, minister, and he's starting a Bible study of his own. His story isn't about glorifying prison or the mistakes of his past. It’s about *REDEMPTION.* It’s about *TRANSFORMATION.* And it’s about what happens when God takes someone who feels broken and gives them a new purpose.
