Granny Circle in a Square - EASY Beginner Friendly

What makes this granny square beginner friendly is that it really only uses double crochet stitches and a few treble stitches here and there which are fairly simple. It's also a great way to practice skills as you are repeating the same thing over and over dozens of times depending how big you want your blanket to be! I am also keeping things very basic here as I know there are some very nice fancy ways to do certain things but before learning those tips and tricks, it's nice to just be able to work on some skills and build confidence with a project that can be completed and will be useful. I am currently working on a granny square blanket with this pattern and will post a short video to show it off when complete! It is a meaningful project as I am using some yarn I inherited from my mother a couple years ago when she passed. I have been holding on to yarn I found in her crafting room and hope to find some meaningful and practical ways to keep it around my home.
