I turned a thrifted photo album into a watercolor journal with removable pages. I love working with removable pages in a watercolor journal because of drying time. In this video I walk through the full process: removing the old photo pages, punching new holes with a vintage adjustable punch, and filling it with 135 lb acid-free watercolor paper. Working on loose sheets lets me paint several pieces at once while they dry naturally, instead of waiting on a single page or using a heat tool.
