New Found Glory - ”Truth Of My Youth” (drum cover)

RIP Chad Gilbert 🕊️ Honestly, this was never supposed to be any sort of special homage to him, but a tragic turn of events made it so. I had been rehearsing this song for a while and had plans to record it soon when I heard about Chad’s passing. The whole thing came as a bit of a shock and felt surreal even though I knew that he had been battling cancer for several years. By all accounts, he seemed like a truly good person and a talented musician. Rest easy, Chad. You, along with ‪@newfoundglory‬ , were an integral part of creating the 2000s pop-punk sound that I hold so dear. 📸 Instagram: @jrauti0 🥢 Proudly endorsing Drumtailor Percussion drumsticks.
