Lyrics:
I woke up in the morning, poured another cup of black,
turned on the television — here we go, we're on the track.
There were promises and speeches, every answer neatly tied,
everybody knew the future, everybody knew who lied.
One says freedom, one says order, one says change is on its way,
but ask them for the details and they dodge another day.
Everybody knows the culprit, everybody knows the game,
everybody's got a verdict, everybody's got a name.
So I sit back and wonder while the whole thing carries on,
how we fight about the darkness till we can't remember dawn.
Isn't this a harmony?
What a beautiful irony.
We sing so loud of liberty,
then forget what it should mean.
Isn't this a harmony?
What a beautiful irony.
While the whole damn world goes crazy,
we've still got a song to sing.
Then I turn to all the headlines, there's a war on every page,
someone draws another border, someone feeds another rage.
They speak about a peace plan, they speak about defense,
then they send another weapon and call the whole thing common sense.
Someone's standing there starving, someone's searching for some bread,
while somebody counts a fortune in a tower overhead.
We can watch it all unfolding from the comfort of our chairs,
then swipe away the suffering like nobody was there.
Every tragedy gets measured by the numbers that it brings,
and the sorrow fades away when it no longer makes the screens.
Isn't this a harmony?
What a beautiful irony.
We talk of peace and humanity
while the fire's burning near.
Isn't this a harmony?
What a beautiful irony.
We can see the whole damn world,
then simply disappear.
Back at home the bills keep rising, every week another cost,
payday comes around on Monday, by Tuesday half is lost.
Someone promises a better day, someone swears they've got the cure,
but ask them how they'll make it work — suddenly they're not so sure.
Then we turn against each other from behind a glowing screen,
fighting over who's the villain, fighting over what we mean.
One side calls the other stupid, one side calls the other blind,
and somewhere in between them all, the common folk get left behind.
We've never had more voices, never had so much to say,
but somehow all the shouting makes the truth just fade away.
Isn't this a harmony?
What a beautiful irony.
Everybody sings their melody,
nobody waits to hear.
Isn't this a harmony?
What a beautiful irony.
We've never been so close together,
yet we've never felt so far.
Now the machines can write our stories, they can paint and they can dream,
every answer's at our fingertips, or so it always seems.
We trade away our private lives for comfort, speed and praise,
then wonder why we're restless in a thousand different ways.
We can watch a thousand tragedies before we've had our tea,
know the suffering of strangers but forget who's next to me.
So I close my eyes a moment, let the noise just fade away,
'cause maybe being human means there's more than words can say.
I don't have all the answers,
I don't have some master plan.
I've got questions in my pocket
and a heart that still can stand.
And maybe that ain't much,
but at least I know it's true.
Maybe changing how we listen
is the first thing we can do.
Isn't this a harmony?
What a beautiful irony.
War and money, power, politics,
all dancing endlessly.
Isn't this a harmony?
What a beautiful irony.
As long as we can hold together,
I'll keep singing through the night.
Isn't this a harmony?
What a beautiful irony.
As long as someone dares to sing,
there's still a little light.
Isn't this a harmony?
What a beautiful irony.
We've never been so close together,
yet we've never felt so far.
This is a harmony!
A beautiful irony.
Sweet sweet harmony!
We've never be enough!
Sweet sweet harmony!
We never be enough
So here we go again...
New promises.
New headlines.
New reasons to divide.
And somehow...
the same old song.
What a beautiful irony.

Beautiful Irony
A theatrical alternative rock song about the beautiful chaos of modern life.
We talk about freedom, democracy and humanity while arguing with each other. We watch war and tragedy through a screen, worry about money and rising prices, fight over politics, trade our privacy for technology, and somehow forget to simply listen.
Beautiful Irony blends theatrical rock, alternative rock, pop rock and dramatic vocals with an energetic, emotional and cinematic sound. A powerful rock anthem about modern society, division, hypocrisy, technology and the strange contradictions of being human.
Everyone has an answer.
Everyone has an opinion.
Everyone has someone to blame. #alternativerock #cinematicrock #dramaticrock #emorock #modernrock #music2026 #newmusic #poprock
