Now Lettest Thou From Unspeakable Gift Listen and read the lyrics: https://pgsongs.com/unspeakable-gift/... The Spirit said that I would see Him Before my evening came So I kept coming to the temple Every day the same I watched the mothers carry babies In through the morning gate And every time I looked to see If this one was worth the wait Lord, now lettest Thou (now lettest Thou) Thy servant go in peace According to Thy word For mine eyes have seen (mine eyes have seen) Thy salvation Resting in my arms A light to lighten the Gentiles And the glory of Thy people Lord, now lettest Thou Thy servant go in peace He wasn't much to look at Just a baby in a shawl His mother looked so young and tired His father looked so tall But I knew Him when I held Him Like you know a song you've heard Not because I'm clever Because He kept His word Lord, now lettest Thou (now lettest Thou) Thy servant go in peace According to Thy word For mine eyes have seen (mine eyes have seen) Thy salvation Resting in my arms A light to lighten the Gentiles And the glory of Thy people Lord, now lettest Thou Thy servant go in peace I can go home now (go home now) I've seen what I came to see I can go home now The promise held for me Lord, now lettest Thou (now lettest Thou) Thy servant go in peace According to Thy word For mine eyes have seen (mine eyes have seen) Thy salvation Resting in my arms A light to lighten the Gentiles And the glory of Thy people Lord, now lettest Thou Thy servant go in peace In peace In peace
