How Bihar's 102 Ambulance Network Is Run, District by District

Bihar is vast. Its towns, villages and remote corners are separated by more than just distance. And when a medical emergency strikes, reaching help can be a challenge of its own. Across the state, Bihar’s 102 ambulance service works to bridge that distance. A network of ambulances, call centre teams, paramedics, drivers and operations staff come together to make emergency medical transport possible on a day-to-day basis. Through the people who work on the ground and the teams coordinating the service, this film looks at what it takes to run emergency response at this scale. The decisions, the challenges and the everyday work that rarely make it into the picture. Because the measure of an emergency service isn’t just the size of its network.
