Seven Havens Finale: What I Got Right (and Wrong)

SPOILERS for the whole of Avatar: Seven Havens Book 1, including episode 13 "The Root Chakra" (Paramount+). The Book 1 finale gets an 11 out of 10 from me. I go through the dome's memory and what the parents were really afraid of, the evacuation (and the cast-iron pan), the fight and why I think the root chakra is the key, the spirit world, why Pavi's leg matters for the rules of the Avatar State, Jae joining Pavi, and my report card for the whole season: what I called right, what I got wrong and what is still open. Then my guesses for Book 2. Theories and guesses are labelled: why the red energy lost its hold on Pavi, Nisha and Vaatu, and where Book 2 goes. What is confirmed: Book 2 is written and in production, there is no release date, and Books 3 and 4 have been ordered. 0:00 Pavi was right all along 0:32 The dome's memory 1:08 What the memory changes (and my Vaatu theory) 2:17 The evacuation 3:11 The fight, and the root chakra 4:24 The spirit world 5:12 Pavi's legs and the Avatar State 6:05 The root chakra opens 6:27 The heartbreak 6:51 Jae joins Pavi 7:17 How far Book 1 came 7:45 Report card: what I got right 8:31 What I got wrong 9:14 Still open 9:36 What to expect in Book 2 10:13 Nisha, Jae and the other havens 10:55 Keep an eye on Amow 11:12 Verdict: 11 out of 10 Footage used for commentary and review (mostly freeze-frames; 4 short moving clips of under 3 seconds each, none of the reveal or the ending; no episode audio).
