National Ceiling Fan Day 2026!

It's September 18th, you know what day it is! It's the day where fan collectors from all over the world simultaneously send out a message to urge reduction of people's reliance on air conditioning, and consider switching to fans for their source of cooling. While some parts of the world certainly are unhabitable without AC, shifting some cooling loads from power hungry air conditioners to energy saving air circulating fans help to reduce global warming and the amount of money leaving your bank balance! In case you didn't know, this video is released months after I'd left for New Zealand. I filmed this video in December of 2025 which is why I'm still able to join NCFD 'from my workshop' without actually being in it. This doesn't mean that I've stopped using fans though as my current living space happens to not have any cooling devices, so I've been relying on fans I brought from home & ones I've acquired here for air circulation. And to address a comment from last year's NCFD video, this video features several National branded fans!
