A Mesmerising Performance | Dragon Dance of Shang by the AIS Secondary Choir

Our AIS Senior Choir performed Dragon Dance of Shang at the 2025 Secondary School Presentation Day. This celebrated new work by Singaporean composer Darius Lim, premiered this year, tells the story of the Celestial Dragon and the Lost City of Shang — a call to the lost paradise, a song carried by the wind in hopes of reaching the dragon once more. As the most challenging piece the choir has ever undertaken, this performance reflects the dedication and collaboration of our entire Music Team, featuring Ms Sok Wah’s Percussion Ensemble, Ms Kim Anderson, and the dazzling piano talents of our Year 6 student, Brandon Kam.
