Building a Classical Guitar #8 'Avenir" - Part I: The Soundboard. Christian Crevels Handmade Guitars

No music, no talk, just the craft and its sounds. Handmade construction of a Classical Guitar by Christian Crevels, guitar maker. In this video, the soundboard's building features the rosette's manufacturing and the bracing pattern that goes into the inside of the instrument. This guitar is #8 and is called 'Avenir', meaning 'future' in french. It is crafted using only quality solid wood for the best sound performance. The soundboard is quartersawn European Spruce (Picea abies), as so is the bracing. The rosette combines veneers of different species of wood in a unique pattern that is the signature of my guitars.
