The Traveller as played by Dave Hum | Irish Banjo Solo

Today I'm sharing my performance of "The Traveller" as played by UK banjo extraordinaire, Dave Hum! "The Traveller" also known as "Walker Street" is a traditional Irish jig that has often been adapted into the bluegrass style. Dave Hum's arrangement of the piece is a melodic-style powerhouse which features many incredible passages whether it be cool syncopated licks, single-string runs, or blazing fast triplets. Dave Hum is sadly no longer with us, but his legacy lives on through his prolific catalog of music. It was amazing dig into Dave Hum's picking style for this video!
