8K HDR 東京夜景 第四弾 | Tokyo’s Nightscapes IV: Stories Beneath the Lights

東京夜景シリーズ、第4弾。 前作「Tokyo’s Nightscapes III」から長い時間が経ちました。 この一年以上、東京の夜を撮り続けながらも、なかなか第4弾を作ることができませんでした。 東京の夜景というテーマは、ただ美しい映像を集めるだけでは完成しないと感じていたからです。 音楽、光、時間、そして映像の中にある小さな物語。 誰かとの出会い。 別れ。 夜の街を歩く人々。 次の場所へ向かう電車。 東京の灯りを背に、夜空へ飛び立っていく飛行機。 ほんの一瞬の出来事であっても、その一つ一つが東京という街の夜を作っているように思います。 夜景が美しいのは、光そのものが美しいからだけではないのかもしれません。 その光の向こう側に、誰かの時間や記憶、そして物語があるからこそ、私たちは夜の街に惹かれるのだと思います。 8Kで撮影した東京の夜を、HDRならではの光と陰影、色彩とともにお楽しみください。 今回は「東京を見る」だけではなく、その夜の中にある何かを感じていただけたら嬉しいです。 — English — Tokyo’s Nightscapes returns with its fourth chapter. More than a year has passed since the previous film, and although I continued filming Tokyo throughout that time, I found it difficult to begin another Nightscapes project. For me, a film about Tokyo at night can no longer be just a collection of beautiful views. It needs music, rhythm, atmosphere — and something that connects all of those individual moments together. In this fourth chapter, the lights of Tokyo are still at the heart of the film, but I wanted to look a little closer at what exists beneath them. Meetings and farewells. People moving quietly through the city. Trains leaving for their next destination. Aircraft disappearing into the night sky. Small moments that may last only a few seconds, yet somehow become part of the memory of a city. Perhaps a nightscape moves us not simply because the lights are beautiful, but because somewhere behind every light, there is a life, a memory, or a story. Filmed in 8K and presented in HDR, this film is my latest interpretation of Tokyo after dark. I hope you don’t just see Tokyo in this film. I hope you feel something within it.
