Mining Train at Professor Hacker’s Lost Treasure Golf in Pigeon Forge, TN. This custom tractor trailer ride encircles Professor Hacker’s Lost Treasure Golf. What you may not know is that this property was once a theme park called Magic World. Operating from 1971 to 1996, Magic World was once home to an aquarium inside a volcano, The Flying Saucer movie theater, Haunted Castle dark ride, The Land of Arabian Nights dark ride, Dragon Train, The Confederate Critter animatronic show, a magic show, and more. The current Mining Train acts as transportation to take golfers to the top of the hillside to begin one of two courses of their choosing. Remnants of Magic World remain today, including the central volcano, pirate ship entrance, and dark ride tunnel from the Dragon Train.
