Jharkhand: Ashram takes care of girls abandoned by their parents | PTI

The Narayan Seva Ashram, based in Deoghar in Jharkhand, is dedicated to providing care for girls who have been abandoned by their parents simply because they do not want to raise a girl child. Currently, there are 35 girls of various ages residing in the Ashram, where their education is also taken care of. Most of the girls living here were abandoned by their parents when they were born. The Narayan Seva Ashram relies on small donations from the local communities. However, it does not receive any assistance from the government. Watch the complete video to know more.
