YOUR SHIELD, MY BACK⚔️ A Viking Love Song | Eira Frostvale & Stellan Direthorn

⚔️ YOUR SHIELD, MY BACK | Eira Frostvale & Stellan Direthorn A cinematic Viking rock love song about trust, accepting help, and protecting the person who protects you. An ambush forces Eira and Stellan off their route home. Stellan dismisses her warning at first. When danger closes around them, he follows her lead. Their escape brings them to a broken bridge and a river they must cross together. They join their belts and step into the current. Stellan loses his footing. Holding his inherited axe in one hand, he struggles to reach solid ground while Eira braces against the pull of their tether. He sees her footing begin to slip. To reach her, he must release the axe. “Your Shield, My Back” follows a warrior learning to trust his partner’s judgment and accept her care. Eira helps him reach the bank. When her own strength falters, he slows down and supports her. Their journey home depends on both of them giving help and receiving it. Deep bass, hard kicks, hide drums, and tagelharpa textures drive this Nordic-inspired duet. Stellan’s rugged bass-baritone meets Eira’s clear, lightly rasped mezzo-soprano. Rhythmic storytelling verses build into a fully sung chorus, followed by a quieter ending as they reach home and set the shield beside the door. For anyone who struggles to ask for help, or has learned to trust someone through a difficult moment, this song is for you. 🎵 Track: Your Shield, My Back 🎤 Artist personas: Eira Frostvale & Stellan Direthorn 💿 Album: Oaths We Carry, Deluxe Edition ⚔️ Track 02 | Viking Rock • Nordic-Inspired Music • Cinematic Viking Duet 🖤 Which feels harder for you: protecting someone you love or letting them protect you?
