Alouette Lake BC Camping / Fishing

Sup guys Bruce here at alouette lake BC campgrounds enjoying some outdoors now that the weather isnt raining here in the lower mainland. Just a fun lil trip to one of my favorite campgrounds eating good food and exploring the lake and trails. Some fishing here and there but didnt get much footage of that 😂. Overall the lake is a challenging place to fish if you are going for that reason, its HUGE and having a larger fast boat might be fruitful but I dont have that so me and my girlfriend explored the coast of the lake and near the creek. We managed to catch quite a few larger pike minnows (30-40cm) near the estuary of the lake. No real good trout or anything else except the odd sculpin here and there. The campgrounds were awesome with your own fire pits, access to clean water, showers and washrooms. Great hike by golds creek which after a short while (maybe an hour or so) you can find yourself below a gorgeous water fall. My only nit picks are that the bugs here can be pretty crazy (not in a good way but its camping what do you expect lol). All and all it was a great trip and a campground I for sure recommend.
