Ողորմեա. Have mercy. Two words older than any nation that ever prayed them, carried here on the breath of the duduk and the low voices of monks in a stone church that no longer stands. This track was never meant to tell a story. It is a plea — the oldest one there is. Armenian liturgical fragments in Grabar, the ancient tongue, rise over a slow hypnotic pulse: Սուրբ Աստուած, սուրբ և հզօր, սուրբ և անմահ — Holy God, holy and mighty, holy and immortal. Between them, the apricot-wood duduk does what words cannot. Then the choir opens, the orchestra breaks like light through a cupola, and for a moment the prayer is answered.
