Horse Selection

Every horse in these pens is telling its own story, if you know how to look. The team heads to the Devil's Garden holding pens to meet the recently gathered mustangs and begin choosing which horses will make the journey to Natural Lifemanship. Guided by caretaker Slate Coffey, they move through pairs, weanlings, and yearlings, watching how each horse carries itself and reads the humans around it. It is a quiet, careful process, built on instinct as much as experience. This is where the selection begins.
