I forgot how good this feels.

After months of road riding in South Africa, I finally got back on gravel. This was my first proper gravel ride here — out around Wellington & Paarl with Keegan — and honestly, it reminded me how different this kind of riding feels. Less polished, less controlled, and somehow way more alive. The route took us through some of the best scenery I’ve seen in a while, including the Wellington Pass, long gravel sections, and one of those South African mornings that makes the whole ride feel bigger before it even starts.
