I Could Live In A Rural Village… But There’s One Problem 🇹🇭

After more than 20 years living in Thailand, I visit a rural village near Khon Kaen to ask an honest question — could I really live here long term? Rural life in Thailand looks peaceful, affordable and incredibly welcoming — but is it right for everyone? In this video, I explore a semi-rural Thai village on the outskirts of Khon Kaen and talk openly about the pros and cons of countryside living. From friendly local communities and lower living costs to the realities of isolation, language barriers and mental wellbeing, I share a balanced perspective based on over two decades living in Thailand. If you’ve ever considered moving to rural Thailand or leaving city life behind, this video offers an honest look at what that lifestyle might really involve. This is real Thailand — simple walkabouts, conversations with locals, and the small moments you only notice when you slow down and look around. 👉 Don’t forget to Like 👍, Share 🔁, and Subscribe 🔔 for more Thailand walkabouts and real life in Thailand. 👉 Want to support the channel?
