STOP DISAPPOINTING YOURSELF! HOW TO REBUILD SELF-TRUST

HOW TO KEEP YOUR PROMISES TO YOURSELF | RC BLAKES JR. Every time you make a promise to yourself and fail to follow through, something deeper than your schedule is affected. Your confidence begins to weaken, your self-trust suffers, and eventually you may start believing that you lack discipline. But what if the problem isn’t simply a lack of willpower? In this powerful Transformation Thursday teaching, RC Blakes Jr. explores why we struggle to honor our personal commitments, how our obligations to others can sabotage our own priorities, and what it takes to rebuild trust in ourselves. Sometimes you are not undisciplined. You have simply given too many people access to the time you needed to keep your promises to yourself. IN THIS TEACHING, YOU WILL DISCOVER: • Why breaking promises to yourself damages your self-image. • How saying YES to others can become saying NO to your own growth. • The difference between good intentions and realistic commitments. • Why protecting your time is essential to personal transformation. • How to create a practical seven-day commitment that strengthens your follow-through. YOUR 7-DAY CHALLENGE Choose one promise you can realistically keep for seven consecutive days. Give it a specific time, identify the smallest useful action you can take on a difficult day, and prepare for interruptions before they happen. You don’t rebuild self-trust through dramatic declarations. You rebuild it by consistently honoring what you have committed to do.
