Believing in God Feels Like a Betrayal

Growing up in Ireland, faith and fear came as a package deal. I spent most of my life wanting nothing to do with any of it, and now I'm sitting here at almost 34, quietly curious about something I can't fully name yet. This video is me thinking out loud about separating faith from institution, and figuring out what I actually believe. I'm talking about the weight of growing up where the Catholic Church ran everything, why certain types of spirituality felt safe to me while others felt loaded, and what it's like to be drawn to something you've spent years dismissing.
