Simple enough strategy... this is another one of those chapters where you are basically required to bring Titania. There's a sandy beach down below where movement is reduced and a Bandit runs unimpeded super fast towards some houses to nuke them, so you have to bum rush on down and take him out as fast as possible, either with Ike or Titania, who still has the highest movement on your team even if it's reduced. There's a Poleax Fighter down there however that you want to quickly take out with Ike to clear the way for Titania. Mia might also be a good choice for sending down there since the vast majority of enemies are axe wielders down there, no real soldiers, some myrmidons and mages. soren could also be a good choice since he also can ignore terrain effects, but since my other two characters (Boyd and Oscar) were so weak, I had to keep him on land to back up the scrubs. A challenging (but funny) mini boss appears in the beach, a bandit named Nedata, he's really fast and strong but not very accurate, it's an even better reason to have Ike and Titania down there. Crackers will come and recruit herself, she's one of the best characters in the game, she'll need bonus experience though and mooch kills for a while to start coming into her own. I always send Lethe and Mordecai into the top corner of the map since especially Mordecai has a tendency to get himself whacked by the mages and other enemies while running up to them untransformed like an idiot, and if either of them is knocked out in this map you don't get them as allies in the next. Lethe could make this chapter a lot easier but as I demonstrate you don't actually need her to beat it, even if your units sucked like mine did. Kotaff is a pretty strong and fast boss for this part of the game and requires lots of teamwork to take down. Good luck! You'll need it.
