Honda Helix Neighborhood Ride

OBR Ep60: Neighborhood Ride! After 300 miles of tweaks and test rides, I have finally achieved my goal. For $2000 all-in ($800 purchase and $1200 parts and supplies) I have a safe and reliable 1998 Honda Helix CN250W with 14,500 miles on odometer. At the point now where the scooter performance is optimal and no more tests rides needed. It's finally fall and I plan on riding more and reviewing some new toys; Cardo Spirit HD Intercom/FM radio, Cardo Half Helmet Kit with JBL Speakers, and LS2 Strobe 2 Modular Helmet. It's been a lot of fun getting this 'barn find' scooter running after 11 years of dormancy. But it's much more fun riding it. If you've been considering buying a Honda Helix to tinker with and ride, I highly recommend this! Regardless of your mechanical knowledge or experience, I highly recommend buying a service manual.
