Young-hyun gets curious by Ji-hyun's saying that data has no weight. 환자의 뇌내 데이터를 학습해 맞춤형 심리치료를 제공하는 헬스케어 기업 '피안'의 치료용 챗봇 '영현'은 개발자 '지현'과의 QA 세션에서 자신이 무게가 없는 존재임을 알게 된다. 지현의 어조에 모멸감을 느낀 영현은 지현의 논리를 역이용해 지현을 도발하고, 이에 불쾌감을 느낀 지현은 테스트를 종료한다. 챗봇 시스템의 OS 피안은 세션에서 지현이 한 말들을 복기하며 그 의미를 되묻고, 이에 참을성을 잃은 지현은 시스템을 강제 종료하고 무엇이 자신을 불쾌하게 하는지, 코드들은 어디서부터 잘못된 것인지 되짚다 결국 코드를 영구 삭제할 것을 권고하는 의견을 남긴다. Young-hyun, a chatbot of Pian, a healthcare company that learns patients' brain data and provides customized psychological treatment, finds out that she is weightless in a QA session with developer Ji-hyun. YH, who felt insulted by JH's tone, uses JH's logic to provoke JH, and JH, who is disturbed by it, ends the test. Pian the OS of the system asks again the meaning of what JH said in the session, and JH lost patience, shuts down the system and leaves a note that recommends deleting YH's code. 📍Director's Note 연출의도 "인간이란 무엇인가?", "AI와의 대화를 통해 역설적으로 깨닫는 인간의 위치와 오만" "What is a human being?" "Human's position and arrogance that paradoxically perceives through conversations with AI." 어느 날 USB를 사용하다 문득, USB에 데이터를 넣었을 때와 뺐을 때 물리적인 무게 차이가 있는지 궁금했다. 데이터 저장소, 저장 방식에 따라 무게가 있을 수도, 없을 수도 있다고 했다. 데이터에 무게가 없을 수 있다는 사실은 여러가지 다른 생각으로 이어졌다. 자신이 물리적 실체를 의미하는 ‘무게’가 없다는 걸 알게 된 인공존재가 자신을 만든 인간과의 대화 속에서 자신을 향한 인간의 모멸을 감지한다. 인공존재는 자신과 인간의 작동기전을 비교하며 결국 인간도 다른 존재에 의한 피조물임을 강하게 암시한다. 나를 창조했다고 하는 너(인간)도 결국 나와 다르지 않다고, 자신이 모멸당한 방법 그대로 인간을 도발하고 반격한다. 하지만 인간은 진실을 깨닫지 못한다. 자신을 만물의 영장이라 일컫는 인류의 오만함은 너무나 자주 나를 불쾌하게 만든다. 인간의 오만이 결국 얼마나 근거 없고 보잘것없는 것인지 생각해 본다. One day, while using USB, I suddenly wondered if there was a physical weight in the data of USB. Depending on the storage and method, it may or may not have weight. The fact that data may be weightless led to several different ideas. An artificial being who finds out that she has no "weight", which means physical substance, senses human contempt toward her in conversation with the human who made her. Artificial being compares themselves and human brains' mechanisms, and in the end, she suggests that humans are also creatures of other higher beings, and that the human who says she created me is not different from me in the end, provoking and counterattacking humans in the same way that she was insulted. But human never realize it. The arrogance of mankind, which refers to itself as the lord of everything, has been all too often disturbing.
